When the time comes to downsize and in all honesty I hope it is not that far away i will be in the fortunate position of having a bit of cash left over. Since I sold my Harley (pictured) I have constantly missed it. The following Trike pics are what my fun mode of transport will be.

That was my Harley, next the Trikes.

Not a trike fan myself, look to me like disabled scooters with attitude! But always liked Harley's. Always been a fan of sit up and beg, rather leaning forward and surrounded by plastic

XJ650 was as close as I got, but don't do rain or the cold, so its 4 wheels now for me, maybe one day if I retire to the bahamas Or the Isle of White

Love custom trikes! Retirement=tattoed Kip on a trike around the world, like Billy Connolly

Yeah, but be honest now, you can only go 4mph on the pavement...

Here's mine (warning, it's an mpeg, plays in Quicktime).

Danger is buddy, I could just go out and get one right now, with a trailer, let my hair grow...maybe not...sport a quality bandanna, grow a nice grey 'goaty' pick up some pals (if I could find some, mostly all in heaven now) and make like Wild-Hogs.

Perhaps better in thought and on movie than real life, but what a hoot to do. Become a romany trike rider and turn your back on life. Could just see me riding free, no helmet with a blonded amazonian on the 'ol-lady' seat. Ahhh dream on Michael me boy....dream on.

You should have got the Horizon Mayan, does about 12-14 mph, with a genius sticker on it, simply says, when on public paths 4mph, roads 8mph, full speed only to be used on private land! And I have watched one tow a transit van!

That one has the 8mph for roads which is quite enough for me - went up on two side wheels going round a mini-roundabout once, talk about a brown trousers moment! I think there is a very good reason why I can't have a driver's license, I really shouldn't go above walking speed.

I do still aspire to owning a Tramper one day though. Not so fast, but it does real off-roading, survives sand, ice, snow, forests, and even has a cigarette lighter socket for heated gloves, boots, GPS, etc.

Ahh I know the tramper well, full independant suspension too!

And last time I checked (which was about 3 or 4 years ago) it was a snip at just
