I have been looking into protection of copyright for logos and custom art work on the websites we design. I was under the impression that if you made it, it is yours and no-one else can use it. This of course is all well and good but how do you find out if someone as stolen something?
It seems you have to pay to register for copyright (the little c), is it worth doing this?

Can't travel anywhere in the UK without seeing an Eddie Stobbart lorry. Always look to see the name on the front. Anyone else do that?

Get connected with the local Children's centre if there is one, very good place to network with professionals who help people find places. Also is she accredited to take funded places for 3 year olds? She can do a course to do this if she is NVQ 3 or above.
Also check out the local competition...are they all full with waiting lists or not? Demand might not be there. If it is then think about unique selling point, offer something special, do a website and go for it. Easier said than done I know.
