With the Google Update coming could PPC be the way forward to help your business making leads and sales?

Must admit to being a bit confused (and worried!) as I thought it had already hit the UK. Obviously not

Seems to have been positive for us so far in the US, just praying the UK is that same...

Is frustrating to be at the mercy of another company, and there's not an awful lot we can do about it

Is there any news yet on the Google Farmer/Panda (what's the difference!?!) update?

Has it hit the UK, or are we still waiting for it? Seems a pretty confusing picture looking at various other forum and blog posts.

From the 28th March, our UK directory has seen an increase in traffic by 21.9% which is great, but we are trying to work out why, and the only thing we can put it down to is this Google update. Unless it hasn't hit yet, in which case it's back to chewing finger nails!!

Has anyone else seen any traffic rises/drops or unusual patterns?

The update has slowly been rolled out since last week so it could be the update which is good but it could also mean you could have a major hit of negative as the update develops.

Looks like the Google Panda update might be finally making a big impact on some sites

I have seen some of ours drop by 1 place so not that drastic and that might not be the panda update it could simply be because of a small change

I just read on google webmaster that it was rolled out yesterday.
Was going to put the link but can't coz I am a newbie!

So this makes our own results even more confusing. We've seen increased traffic now for the last 2 weeks, which I put down to the farmer update.

I guess it's continue to bite finger nails and watch this space!

Our US based site seemed to ride the storm ok, so fingers crossed.

Anyone else spotted anything good/bad or unusual with UK based sites?

Ive seen a drop in a few results but nothing too major I think it will be at least another week before we see huge drops.
