i would have it as well if i could get rid of the fiesta, its a lovely car to drive and has a lot of power to offer, but the wife wants another Pajero for herself as she liked the one we had before and i want a good off roader for when i go shooting, funny how everything i shoot goes towards the muddy areas of fields etc. But then Pest control for farmers is a must and if the pests go to the muddy areas, who am i to complain, Not that i like driving through extremely deep muddy areas of course, but -------------

I have owned many a 4x4 and large vans, the most economical car i owned was a saab convertable, 40 to the gallon, i am trying to sell the wifes fiesta top of the range with everything possible on it and only 5,500 on the clock, not bad for a two year old car.
we want to buy two more 4x4 with the money so we can have one each and keep the van for work only.
so do we really care about the ozone layer and global warming, of course we do, but at 60 years old i want to drive what i want when i want, if we have to pay more for the fuel and no car tax i am quite happy. how do we start a petition again, i have signed one in the past but it went nowhere
Anyone know of ? 21st September 2010 7:09 AM
cheers we already deal with most of those or have tried and got nowhere.
But i think it may be time to try again.

Cheers

Due to the Niche market that we trade in, it is hard to get good quality leads into Housing associations etc.
Black Mould Treatments do not have its own CPV codes and therefore it is very rare that contracts are advertised.
Any one got any leads into areas like MOD, (very hard to get into) local government (again we are in a few but it is a difficult area) or generally housing association work. Ideally within a 40 mile radius of Burton upon Trent.
We have carried out work for many authorities around the country and tied it in with the thermal insulation work that we do, but money is tight out there as we all know, and until litigation is threatened the work does not get done.

We are Chas Accredited plus several others.

The main problem that we have is local authorities tend to cover up the problems and not treat as it should be; therefore the problems come back again and again.
Qype!!!!!!!!!!!! Huh 21st August 2010 9:02 PM
We are in a very niche business of Black Mould Eradication, thermal insulation for non cavity walls and pest control, Quype have a premium posting for the mould and insulation. What do i want out of it, VALUE FOR MONEY being a niche market the product and fitting is not cheap so two decent jobs or 4 reasonable jobs in the year would pay for the advert and all would seem well. however i have had no response apart from 1 follow through to my website and so this makes the advert as expensive as Yell.
By now the advert should have paid for itself if the advertising was aimed into the market that i was told it would be when i signed up. But i feel it was a ploy to get a signature, and to the day i have a full refund which looks as yhough that is what will happen, i will still say that it was a bad decision to join them. I have had my fingers burnt and would say to most people out there "if you are in a niche market find somewhere else to advertise." Normally i would accept a good or a bad decision on the marketing as just oner of those things, however one of the things that sold me the package was 1000 viewings in the year to my site or my money back, trust me they are going to have to find something very special now to get those figures, mainly cos the busy time of the year for the quotes for this work is nearly over.
Thanks Tomsk 21st August 2010 4:29 PM
i am told that this new programme has wordpress cos when it was mentioned to me i knew i had heard it from you, so we shall see. i will let you know when i have rec it and have built the basic site, got to think of a suitable domain yet,
Thanks Tomsk 21st August 2010 3:41 PM
Yes Tomsk i thought that by the number of contacts that have been made to me directly from my sites.
I am in the throes of building a brand new site with a dedicated web building programme that i am waiting to be delivered, and as it has free hosting for 18 months i have taken advantage of it. however i have to keep going back to my old sites to look how it is done. Your help was well rec and no i dont think you are a stalker, i am happy to take on board any comments and help that a dummy like me can follow. all i need to find before i go live with my new site is the best jeywords etc for the pest control side to the business, i have a need to be found quickly as i am going to dedicate the site specifically to pests. and as we are moving from Swadlincote hopefully, i will need to change a few minor details on locality.

thanks again for your help.

Qype!!!!!!!!!!!! Huh 17th August 2010 4:20 PM
Hello,

I'm the B2B community manager for Qype. If you need any help or have any questions, let me know.

@Scootek: interested to know what is your experience of Qype so far. Are you on the free listing?

@ithas2bedone: I sent you a couple of messages in the last weeks via Qype with different options to improve your premium listing and offering you free added features so we can test and learn; plus see whether this helps at all, considering you're in a niche market. Can you please come back to me on this via the site?

Thanks,

I am on the free listing for some of my sites or at least i was, but then i was told that it was counterproductive to have too many websites linked to the same domain or something like that.
As for my experiences so far, and am i happy No good experiences and no i am not happy, i am spending money with no returns.

I thought that i had sent a reply to the free features so that we can all learn and see if it will work. please feel free to do what ever you feel works, all i want is a return on my outlay for the mould and sempatap thermal side of the busienss. i have totally lost interest in the whole advert no and so if it happens good if it dont i will be looking for the promised refund.
I dont understand your side of the business and if i did i would not have had a need for the advert in the first place. however i do not have time to play with the construction or to keep altering details unless they are relevant to the day to day running of the business.
Regards

steve

Just like our taxes that goes to help pay for flood victims etc then after we feed em etc they want to kill us and our brave soldiers etc. There is something wrong when this is where our hard earnt money goes.
