However, I have noticed many professional websites only put a couple of sentences in a box and add the "read more >>" button which either takes the reader to a different page where the full story is or expands the box on the same page. The question is how does this work exactly in terms of SEO? Is the expandable text beneficial for supporting the keyword although it is either hidden or located on a different page. Is it readable by the SEs ? I think homepages with such a design look really neat and nice.
