I think Google Glass is one of those things - it may or may not take off and it is really difficulty to predict.

Something equally difficult to predict was the tablet. It was around for 10 years before it suddenly took off for Apple. Not many predicted it would be so successful (if they were being honest).

If it does take off then it will be a major change in personal technology.
But it is too early to say...

I think it depends on your type of business.

Pinterest is great if you have something visual. Linked-in is better if your product is more consultation based.

Linked-in has been our best provider so far.
It's been a slow-burn approach. We get leads from people we have dealt with in the last 2-5 years. It's a great way of staying in touch when you don't -er- stay in touch!

Page load speed is also important to improving your position in a search.
Don't think it effects your actual page rank though.
