Would be interested to know how you get on with kwiikchix - certainly seems like a growing business area as more and more people will be affected by it.
As for trip advisor, I've never really rated it and I know Duncan Bannatyne is currently having a public spat with them at the moment.

Can I suggest you think what others may do?
From your previous posts I gather you are a wedding videographer, and whilst I don't think a lot of Facebook ads can be targetted very well, wedding services are one I think can be well targetted because people often change their relationship status to "engaged".
I found this article from Facebook website, and this quote from it may help you change your mind...Over 12 months, CM Photographics generated nearly $40,000 in revenue directly from a $600 advertising investment on Facebook.
Admittedly Facebook are not going to put bad examples on their website but to me it'd be worth a go.....

I'm in agreement with you both, ultimately he's a Google employee. Though I'd say everything is relevant to Google & worthwhile listening to on the basis of that understanding.
If you want to Bing then the 'rules' may be different - though not always IMHO.

I'm sure they would love to move into search engines just to pick up some of the revenue streams. Even if they develop a similar concept to Google, Bing etc they have a huge base of people signed up and if they incorporate it in to there website, the potential to pick up some of the revenue streams through advertising could be greater and then linking it in with the data they have on individuals and businesses I could see it changing.... ...I guess we'll see over the next year it two.

Obviously, you may need to consider any support costs that may be requried etc. But if 25% off the price was cheaper than all the others then yes I would buy, unless there was a similar product that did the same and I'd had great service from them in past or some other reason to pay a bit more....

Must admit it's baffling to me as to why they would want to do it and will be intersting to see if they will revert back to allowing caps. Interesting it only impacts the root domain. Directories from that are fine?!
