We will be using Adwords for advertising, do not think Facebook will work for our product. Mark Pitts
I have a facebook and twitter account. I would really like to get a fancy fan page, but I am not that technical.. I am looking into Faceit, but need to call to get more information. It takes work to get fans, but after you have the connections then you can reach lots of folks. If you are in facebook, would you go to - EcoSmartProducts - and click the "like" bottom and introduce yourself.
“We will be using Adwords for advertising, do not think Facebook will work for our product.” I'd agree with you Mark for your line of work. Though I do think for something like wedding photography there could be some good targeted advertising to be had on Facebook for the previous reasons mentioned.
I have my cupcake business on facebook and i have found that i have had quite a few enquiries and a few bookings as a result. It is a slow process if you do not pay for advertising as it is just a modern way of word and mouth. But it has the advatage of being able to "sell your wares" by adding photos and adding comments If your target market is 16- 45 then it is a great way of getting out there. At least you do not have to pay for it!!
I think Facebook offers you a real business identity. I mean, it's is the great place for you to create an online profile that will help promote your business and give your Search Engine Optimisation to your own website a boost. Get networking with other members from the UK and from around the world, hook up with suppliers and buyers, share ideas and market. Plus Facebook is now on your phone, you can check your notification, post a message or a picture as you like and whenever you like. It is avery convenient and interactive media. And it's free. ![]()
Have started to get interest in our web site through twitter ![]() Mark Pitts
I guess there is nothing wrong in going about it. You can surely try and explain to people about the types of services that you offer. I guess the most important thing that people want to know if whether if you are connected to the latest trends on not. Visit any website and you will see a Fb, twitter and LinkedIn logo. This is not only for your convenience, but also for your customers. |
