If you like your name but not ready to go ltd, you can registar a dornant company name and still trade as a sole trader.  Dam weird stuff if you ask me.

I have seen dodgy daves alarms and crook alarns and then some weird ones.

Keeping it short is good for email and web domains.

My full company nane is way too long.

Secure I AM  is good for the industry i am in, but stands for Secure Installation and Alarm Maintenance.  

But hell if i used that name on the van, buisness cards etc be no room for anything else.

Business names in my opinion should be

Short or can be shortend a( for reasons  ss mentioned above)

Relivant to what you are doing

New start ups should look at things that are currently or becoming trendy in thinking about names, once established if its no longer trendy its become a recognised brand and doesnt matter.

Its interesting you can register a dormant ltd company for £15 but that only stops people registering a company name not a brand or trademark.

if sone tries to pinch a trademark you can contest it even if you didnt tegister it first.

This then has to be paid for and you have to prove that the trademark belings to you.

This happend a fre years back with someone trying to steal OSC and it was a strange messy game but those trying to steal dudnt win.

I find it difficult to know what constitutes a trdemark, and what doesn't

The problem with driverless cars is theres no    beeeeeep! driving it and we all know you have to beeeeeps driving as it makes road use so much fun.

However I think the authorities can only start to look at large scale, as this is the most productive way of catching crims.

Lets face it to arrest and process everyone that has/ does copy illegally then there would be lots of arrests.

sad but thats life, if it makes it unpopular then it will lose the ads but it may find its balance
