hi everyone happy new year, I must say what a brill night in London at the London eye watching the fireworks it's a real pleasure to be British and not worry about going out. The stewards and police done a fantastic job with out any pressure on the party goers only the uk police can be easy going with a happy smile and still keep us safe very impressed with everything last night shame it can't upload the video John Thanks, John
Hi John, have hi-jacked your post and turned it into a Happy New Year Was a pretty impressive fireworks display and very glad they decided to carry on with it. Must have a been a few twitching bottoms because if something had happened, then no doubt the media would have turned on the Police and Politicians for allowing a public gathering You can add a You Tube video by selecting the video icon next to the smiley faces when you edit a post, and selecting embed. Was I the only misery who wondered why the fireworks went on so long? Bit over the top and very expensive!!! I love fireworks but when the number of homeless people on the streets of London are going up exponentially...

Hi Rebecca Lucky we got tickets but remember the cost was paid for by ticket sales by all of us who went toth show. i dont think they would have been so expensive as we all subsidised it with ticket sales, it didn't have anything to do with homeless, thats another story. The time flew while watching it live and officials were brill.
