Rule Britannia, at least when we've got some new engines

A bit of a PR disaster for the Royal Navy today as it concedes their six high tech £1 billion boats have dodgy engines.

Not quite the image we normally associate with the Navy, which now means they have to chop a big hole in the side of each boat to carry out repairs.

Reading the article on the Beeb, didn't realise the Royal Navy now comprises only 19 warships, of which 6 are affected by dodgy motors. I suppose it's a sign of the times.

Saw that this morning and you have beaten to me to posting about it.

I was actually going to come from a different angle and thats why on earth would you advertise that our fleet is, wounded?

Ok we are not at war or anything but we have just made ourselves a laughing stock! Some things are not in the Public interest and the media should refrain themselves sometimes.

Can you image Korean, Russian or China news agencies going Public with problems with their fleets, they be shot on the spot.
