Backlink Question - its friday

My understanding (and only paid one I used was years ago and from a firm called vertical leap, which was ropey) is they pull most of their info from Yahoo site explorer or big G.

I've always taken the links count from Google and use it as my baseline.

Just checked this forum, 2,829,253 inbound links. If only they were all unique domains and PR9's other than mainly content scrapers and My Local Services!

How on earth did you get 2 million links! Is that figure correct!

Yup, but don't forget we have large database sites, MLS UK and US, which is over 20 million pages between them

So a lot of the links are from the same URL's, and being a forum, we tend to attract a lot of content scrapers But slowly building up some decent links as well...
