Hi,

very useful info and thanks for posting...

I am finding it strange with ppc at the mo...everytime i use ppc the sales drop of put when i rely on natural search and google products the sales are 'steady'... it is very strange....

my new site has only been launched a couple of months though so i dont have a mass of data to go off. at the moment am putting it down to the time of the month as its past the middle but not quite the end...so people are spent up and waiting for payday...hopefully....

i've not done the press release option before though...so its worth a shot!

Do you mean that you stop the Google products and SEO and concentrate on PPC and vise-versa?

If you are, you ideally need to apply all 3 together to gain a bigger page share for your targeted keyword(s)- they should naturally prop each other up and give you an increased ROI.

If you don't mean you do "either/or............I'll admit.....I have no idea why!

Yes they both run on there own at the same time...it is very strange indeed. I have a cron job running a script every 24hrs so it updates products/descriptions and stock etc so i dont even tough that anymore unless the email report shows an error. was wondering if google were playing crafty because they get paid for the PPC's whereas the google products are free...

Hi Kathy,

a good start in linkedin is to add as much info to your profile as you can, then use the part where it imports your email contacts and you can either use it to invite them to join, or it see's if they are already memmbers then you can request them to link to you. you can also add twitter and blog updates as well so its all updated.

they also have an outlook plugin as well which is quite good and gives reminders on people you email a few times to add as a contact and add them to linkedin as well.

I've only been using it for a month ish, but seems ok so far. you can visit the linkin thread on the forum too and add contacts from this site.

:-)

Salutations and warm greetings to all who have supplied such valuable information on marketing and linked in,
It is in an attitude of gratitude that I am to pick my way through the information in sequence as it has been given.
If I can reciprocate and pass on any helpful simple and easy ways to get long-lasting emotional relief. I would like to respond in kind.
When it comes to social networking I seem to be in a permanently state.
