I'm in the early stages of setting up my gift basket business and had put together some demo ones for photos. In some of them I'd included wine and/or speciality ales. I then read/heard somewhere that I needed a personal licence to trade from home  . I looked into it further and found in order to get this licence from the council I had to do a course first. Has anyone done the course and got themselves licenced? If so, if they're trading in only small amounts of alcohol, has it been worth it? Thanks
I looked into this before and it got very expensive and confusing so I dropped it! You might want to consider becoming a supplier and selling through a distributor? |
