Does google instant, will impact website with long query keywords.

I was initially worried about this. Then I had a thought!

People will only see the instant suggestions and page results if they can touch type. I don't know the exact figures for this but my educated guess would be that the vast majority of people searching within Google will NOT be able to touch type and will be looking at their keyboard as they are typing the search or keyword phrase not the screen.

Therefore they won't see the instant suggestions at all!

Now we're used to seeing this in action, I don't think think it has had the negative impact we were suspecting.

Like Magnify says, most of us 2 finger typists are head down at the keyboard, but I normally glance and see the keyword I was trying to type in the drop down box, and select that.

If I type in athletic shoes, once I have typed athletic, I can see athletic shoes as an option, so simply select it.

Rather that traffic going down, we have actually seen an increase in Google traffic. Not sure yet if its attributed to this, or if its an anomoly, but long may it continue

I think the preview function is a pain though!

Yes,I am agree with admin,It will not give you negative impact.If you have targeted keyword than you do not have to worry about result.

Sjr4x4 is right, you can't write your phrase and at the same time read the results that are being generated.
I havent thought of that.
Finally I believe that instant search will not affect much the long tailed sites.
