Was doing a bit of 301 redirect research when came across this article. It's from April this year, but gives a good explanation of how to redirect content and preserver Pagerank if you're not familiar with 301's, and also goes into the theory of Pagerank decay.

Not heard of decay before, but I DO know that not 100% of the link-juice flows through a 301

I have been using a 301 redirect from the first day of my website.

I redirect my www url to a non-www url. With the same name.

Does this can cause page rank decay?

I read the article but it only talks about old to new.

Do I have to worry about my redirect?

Nope this is fine, and you should do this , either via a 301 or via apaches .htaccess file. Otherwise your www and non www will be competing for pagerank, as well as potential duplicate content issues.
