The thinking: Everybody has testimonials, they are an expected site now, so after knocking heads with Claire Kerr over something else, I decided to go for two of these. I did cherry pick the clients of course, because I wanted to show what can be done when you listen to people that know what they are doing.
Lets face it, you don't tell the surgeon what to do when you go in for an operation!
Anyway, these are two excellent and favoured clients, they have taken advice and made it work in their favour.
Kudos to Claire Kerr for the studies themselves and kudos to Mark and Nick for making it work.
Interesting, but do you think case studies are limited to particular industries? Your right, testimonials are the norm, as are reviews, but can we be bothered to open up pdf's and read loads of self promo blurb? I suppose thinking about it, it's relevant to cost. If I'm spending some serious dosh, then I want as much research as I can get, and case studies falls into this. But if I'm spending
Valid, all of it, but I did admit to cherry picking, they both knew up front that they would be contacted, you do what you have always done, and you get what you have always got. I am doing some major business now, so instead of the small minded testimonials, it is time to ramp it up, big business' have case studies, small business' NEED testimonials. And due to the sign ups I am getting now, I felt it time to ramp it up, and I still feel this was 100% vaild.

Maybe not now, but in 6 or 12 months? Or do you think this is something that will regularly change, with maybe new case studies every 6 months? Or do people not contact case studies? Be interesting to know. I know testimonials get contacted, so simply assuming people may do the same with case studies? Anyone else had any experiences, good or bad with case studies?
