The Panda bear is waddling again, twice in one month!

From Twitter: A Googler ‏@google
Heads up: we're pushing a new Panda data refresh that noticeably affects only ~1% of queries worldwide. More context: goo.gl/HNvCt

Hmm I wonder why they have stepped up the tempo? Their link just takes you to "how to build a google friendly website" which is dated from May 6th 2012.

Maybe the first June roll out didn't achieve it's aim or there was too much collateral damage?

Anybody had any problems?

1% might seem small, but it could be a huge number. I wonder why they have sent out another one again...

Something seems fishy...

My client had a big crush! I do not understand why they have sent out the system at once. They could do it gradually. thumbsdown

They sent out two at one point. Why would it make a difference if it was gradual or complete?

You could ask Steve if you could borrow his goat, but I think he grew attached to it.

Just wondering if the new panda also effects Maps results?

Good question, although Panda's all about content, which is pretty limiting for maps and is just a google template. So I guess not? But that's a guess
