Well yes lol, obviously you need to put in the relevant keywords! But if people are telling their friends about Lina salon, but cannot remember the web address . . .

Have you got a sitemap.xml yet? I think maybe you need to do some SEO homework, there are loads of free resources out there one of our members on here has loads of SEO tips on his website Home | Kevin Wiles - SEO Consultant & Geek in West Midlands

Yes do have the sitemap.xml.
My site got indexed straight after I created it.

Thank you for the resource, I will have a look.

Could you just tell me about the "-"?
How is this read by google?
Would it differ the words around the dash?

Thanks,

the hyphen separates the words, so Google can differentiate them

I have just tried mine, it says no data

What does this mean?

I get the same "no data" for our lowigroup top level domain, but we get results for both UK and US My Local Services sites.

I suspect this is one of those sites that needs to look and cache results, so if no-ones ever requested a search of your site, then they have no info, but try again in a month now you've tried a search, and it will show up.

SEO is an emotive massive topic, and there are 100's of these type of sites. Although they can be useful, don't be disillusioned if your site doesn't show up. It can be agood tool to get an idea of what your competitor is upto.

Another way of doing it is to use Alexa enter your URL, and you get a high level overview of there approximate traffic rank, traffic stats, and if you look in the search analytics tab, an idea of what keywords are sending the most traffic to their site!!

I've slated Alexa off in the past, and it is very high level and woolly, but it gives you an approximate idea. Looking at your own stats, you can get a feel of how to extropolate the results.
