With interest rates being held again at 0.5% recently how is this affecting your business or even retirement plans?

Is a low interest adversely affecting you commercially or personally.

Was watching breakfast TV yesterday listening to Martin Lewis waffle on about where to invest money, I think he said one bank was offering an ISA with 3.14% interest rates and we should all be saving etc... got me thinking .. if i put away my ISA allowance and had done so for the past 5 years - id have somewhere in the region of

As a plumber and according to HMRC I have a huge wad of cash underneath the mattress so interest rates have little effect on me
Seriously though I guess it depends which side of the fence you are sitting on, my mortgage rate tracks the BoE base rate plus 1/2% so I'm currently saving around
