Personally I thought it was pretty good, visual effects of the "pixels" being held by the audience I thought was amazing.
Great to see a Floyd tribute, shame there was no David Gilmour

My favourite bit was a virtual Freddie and Brian May doing Brighton Rock, but guess that wont appeal to everyone's taste! Especially if your under 30

Felt it got a little disjointed at the end, and assumed Eric Idles number was the end.
But overall very good.
Got to be honest, was genuinely worried we would be eclipsed by Beijing, but what an amazing couple of weeks. Fantastic opening ceremony, impressive looking venues, good medal tally, good finale, and thankfully security incident free (or at least publicly).
No doubt the media will bring us back down to earth with the usual doom and gloom, we can't afford it, Olympic park will be an white elephant etc..
