Must admit I seem to be purchasing more and more via internet, even with my merchant trade discounts they have difficulty in competing with online outlets. But it comes at a price, I may well be able to purchase a boiler for say Thanks, Barney
Couldn't agree more with Barney's comment earlier. There are many pro's and Con's to shopping online. It may be good for those who can't drive for example or for those who just like to save a couple of pounds through taking advantage of discounts on companies online stores. On the other hand as Barney mentioned, there is nothing like meeting new people and interacting with the experts at a car garage, as well as asking further guidance on particular subjects which you just couldn't do online. I think we all spend more on the internet. If only as a country we could start exporting this? Ryan
I am not satisfied with the survey of BBC that Consumer of UK are Spend more as compare to other major countries. I think the consumer of USA are spending more on online shopping. Marry martin
yes that's right but I just have a thought everything is online now a days. There will come a time when we just be sitting in front of our computer all the day and even at the time of sleep we will order it....lol. ![]() rachaelcollins01
The trends are changing throughout the world, online business is said to be the future of trading. There are several developing countries in which the use of e-stores and online orders are proactively increasing. Examples include Turkey, UAE, India, Indonesia, Japan and many more! “There are several developing countries in which the use of e-stores and online orders are proactively increasing.” Don't forget Africa, which seems to be leading the charge with mobile commerce, borne out of a necessity of limited landline infrastructure. I suspect they could outperform the UK in a couple of years, maybe less!
“Neither do you get a cold sausage roll and a doughnut when the reps are trying to flog you something. There are pros and cons, I think I personally prefer local shops that are trading competitively, that are employing local people and where you can have some human social interaction, rather than the isolation of sitting in front of a computer screen trying to save a few quid” Are you going to copy and paste the whole forum today? Just curios.......... Thanks, Barney |
