Okay, so after two years of studying, several part time jobs ans a few weeks in between, I have managed to get my first order from a total stranger.
I haven't been on here for a while because i've been busy trying to get my first order. I set a target of getting an order before the end of this month and I've done it. Boy does it feel good.
Okay, I know it's not much but it's a start.
Leaflet dropping and talking to business owners done it for me. What's more, I walked past this guy thinking he was going to tell me the normal excuse 'why do I need a website?' but I thought 'that's not going to get you anywhere' so I went back. I gave him a leaflet, he phoned that night and ordered it two days later.
See, perseverance does pay.
