Just seen the news that Ebay has suffered a cyber attack on one of its databases.

Details stolen include customers names, encrypted passwords, email addresses, date of birth, addressees and phone numbers.

The attacks happened around February/March and only became aware of it 2 weeks ago - why has it taken so long to go public then?

Change your password is the underlying message!

these attacks do seem to be getting more and more common

Thanks,

Can honestly say I've never used it, just never been able to work out how to set up an account..

Thanks,

There was a list of services affected by the Heartbleed, and eBay wasn't there, which was quite odd at the time. I think we just need to change ALL our passwords, just in case

Maybe they could send me mine! I've forgotten it.
