Cheers been a bad week for the car 3 crashes well 2 people went into me and I went into someone else and also someone broke into my car and pup paper in my air intake

But on the upside a day spent polishing it and it looks quite clean!

Great Kevin! The car getting cleaned I mean. Sorry to hear about the rest. My Daughter and two (or was it twenty-two?) Grandchildren were here for the past two weeks.

"DAAAADDDYY!"

"Yes hon...what is it?"

"Could you detail my car while I'm here...ever so pretty please"

And so I spent around 30 hours over three days fully detailing her one year old Ford Kuga with every conceivable extra money can by. (NATO) you see.
Washed, three times, air blown dry, fully cut by machine (Megs 105 & 205) polished with Heritage, then waxed with Zymol concours. Vinyl fully treated and all glass treated to a product from Germany (sim to rain X but twenty times better). Wheels off, cleaned and waxed in and out, tyres treated also.
Interior leather cleaned and treated with a product very similar to honey. Carpets washed everything else included. was in a real 5hitty state when she arrived. Following is end result.

Actually, in my senility have I already said this? If so delete it Steve if you like.

It is Kevin. I used a twin xenon light checking for imperfections...and there were none. One of the best to date. Although a V12 E-Type I did last year was also a cracker...then there was the Bentley GT...

Wow! Were the grandchildren allowed back into it, or were they autoclaved and shrink-wrapped first?

Nb: Shrink-wrapping children is Wrong.

The reflection, bit too shiny and bright - I need sunglasses!

Shrink wrapped children is absolutely safe. You must however ensure that the mouth and nose are left uncovered.

Is it me? How can you have 3 prangs in 1 week Mr Kev?

Someone put paper in your air intake? Is this a 21st century version of the exhaust banana?

You need to tell me where abouts in Stratford you are, so I can park somewhere else!!

I'd be interested in how many of you guys work from home. I started working freelance 6 years ago and getting motivated when working from home is probably even more difficult as there's always distractions. I just got it together and my wife retired and now she's at home there's even more distractions. It's not easy working on your own either. Solitary confinement is used as a punishment in prisons. The plus side though is that when it's sunny and you don't have a lot of work on, you can go and sit on the patio with a glass of red wine :-)

I agree with you totally Nick. I spent a lot of time working from home in my corporate life, then spent the first year of the business operating from my house, although in the end, the backbedroom, study and even the upstairs landing got turned into office space as there were 4 of us.

Looking back, it was awful, as there was no separation bewtween work and play, and I'd end up working nonstop late into the night. The best thing we did was move to an office and separate home and work life. For me I love the motivation and mindset of getting up and going to the office. Puts me in the right frame of mind. its only 20 minutes away, but its a chance to wind up, as well as wind down on the way home.

I work occasionally from home as a conveniance (like today ) but now its a novelty and enjoyable as opposed to living and breathing it every day.

I think it depends on your character, a lot of people thrive on working from home, but not me
