How to manage & motivate your employees! 14th December 2012 2:19 PM
For any organization the employees are the backbone, so it is important to manage and motivate them effectively. Here are a few tips I learned over the period of time, I hope these tips help you all.

1. Money is the best motivator
Give them targets of getting incentives if performance is good.

2. The easiest solution to employee morale problems
Care about the esteem of the employees; don
I've searched online as well, and all I can find is a like box and the usual round of suspects. So I am also curious.

I've discovered how to do it!

What you do is find a ratings button (I now have one on my business facebook page - https://www.facebook.com/PartyStuff4u)

Click on the button and click get your own, or words to that effect, and then follow the instructions. Does appear to go round in a circle on itself, but it works eventually! All I need now are some ratings! lol
I guess it is all about interacting with your clients. If your clients are connected with you via social media, then there are great chances of them referring them to their friends and families.
It is a good way to promote your product and services and if you are releasing a new product/services then it will be easy to promote it there.

Does anyone know how to get a ratings button on a Facebook business page? I have traced the following link but I have got no idea where on earth I am supposed to put it on my Facebook page:

My page is: https://www.facebook.com/PartyStuff4u

Mail Chimp seem to be pretty good for SME businesses

Mail Chimp recommended to me. Yet to get my first mailshot out, but they have sent lots of really useful pointers and information through to help me get started.
I think there is a thread around the forum for that

When I look at some of the big brands on facebook, they all have some sort of gimmick, whether its a game, or the well known fb apps, but it shows that even something as simple as an image, combined with some great content, and a little something given away for free can work wonders. Perhaps it was just easier because the store in question is a butcher?

Yes, possibly. Just got to tinker around with it and try out a few options, I guess!

Thanks for that. I tried to put my page on but I am not allowed to do it yet as not up to 10 posts Nearly there, I think, so will do as soon as I get to 10! I've given you a like!
Max Clifford 7th December 2012 4:18 PM
I agree. In light of the most recent of these accusations against Max Clifford, etc, I did remember Matthew Kelly and I've got to admit that I was trying to remember whether he was cleared or not. It's terrible that people can have their lives ruined just on hear-say and unproven allegations. We think we live in a fair country - just makes me worried for people living under legal systems that are not as "just" as our own.

Totally agree Barney - i have said this many times in multiple posts - careers have been ruined already, although some do manage a mini claw back. No names should ever be released until they are found guilty, allegations are not sufficient evidence to be trialled by the Press!

John Leslie was never charged but accused, Matthew Kelly was another.

Be interesting how Mr PR deals with this

That is real fuel for the brain on a cold Friday afternoon!

Just thinking about whether we could all like each other's facebook pages to get our likes up?

I am just about to put up a post that will give a

Hi, does anyone have any experience of EBS marketing in Manchester? I'm not sure they've done what they promised to do for me and am not sure what to do next. Thanks, sam
Something else to ask is which software the website builder is using. I had my fingers badly burned as I did not realise the company I chose were the ONLY people who knew anything about their software! They went bust, and I was stuck. Ensure you use a common platform that someone else can take over for you if your original provider has problems.
