Mail Chimp seem to be pretty good for SME businesses
Need advice on promotion by e-mail
“what a third party would you recommend to use, we are looking to carry out a newsletter campaign like this as well” We send from our own servers, but use a application called Interspire Email Marketer I know people on here have raved about Mail Chimp in the past, but haven't used them myself. <edit> - posted same time as MagnifyB

Yes, emailer are also helpful for promoting your business. Create simple & understandable emailer. Use proper email ide list, so it will help you to get proper results. kiranraj
