HP to stop making computers! 27th August 2011 9:14 PM
I think this will be a very bad move.

Lets all stop what we know and do well sell everything and buy something we don't know so much about....

Because the current market is tough.

Seems like a disaster in the making.
Business Planning after you've gone! 27th August 2011 9:09 PM
Well I have all the paperwork sorted, but problem is the wife would not be able to take over from me. So its a worry for me. Focused at the moment on paying off all the mortgages that way the income needs will be as modest as possible.

All the same with a 2 and 4 year old at home you do need to think.
Well they are welcome to make an offer for my No Win No fee business, I am sure I can be persuaded to accept a few million shares - LOL

Seems never to happen for me though
Apple Boss steps down 27th August 2011 8:58 PM
I don't think apple will be the same without him. Still maybe he is ill, but that is often used a cover for some other Board room re-organisation.

How to get Page Rank............... 25th August 2011 7:51 PM
Why would you want page rank? Its nothing to do with actual search rankings.

I think the biggest issue is that people read "page"+"rank" and assume that its to do with getting better positions.

What you need is good quality links about your subject, it doesn't matter if they have page rank or not - that is what will get you results.
Stakeholder Pension 25th August 2011 7:46 PM
Its good that everyone is being made to contribute to their pension, as otherwise its the tax payer who ends up picking up the bill.

All the same its another burden on business at a time when few can afford it.
The end for Gaddafi! 25th August 2011 7:41 PM
Well I think this time we had done a pretty good job. No ground troops have been deployed, but by using aerial bombardment and SAS intelligence we tipped the balance significantly in the rebels favour - enough to allow them to liberate themselves.

No doubt the new regime will remember their friends when rebuilding work and oil contracts are in the offing.

Well maybe get the complete collection of Dallas DVD. Watch them end to end until you are goggle eyed.

I am sure there is something that can be learnt from JR Ewing and Co.

LOL
HMRC arresting plumbers 18th August 2011 8:10 PM
But what do you think the answer is? Much as I hate handing over money, tax is a fact of life.

Well cut government spending national and local to a more reasonable % of GDP.

Plus Cut Personal and corporate taxes.

It needs a ten year plan of the economy growing at a faster rate than Government spending.

Though I doubt very much it is going to or can happen.
