“Hi, as I said I do Ok as I cover central London, have contracts with one of the best letting high end agents in London. I also look after the plumbing / heating for a well known coffee house chain, but this takes me out of London and into the Home Counties and most of the time it is night work. Over the last couple of years we have also started to diversify into other forms of heating apart from gas and it has taken of quite nicely so much, that over the last couple of days, I've decided to seperate the business completely, set up a new Ltd company and purchase untold domain names. Hopefully everything will be up and running by the end of the month. My original comment was about the state of the UK plumbing industry (nationwide) it's different in London, I wouldn't expect a plumber, plasterer, bricky or even a roofer to be having continious work say in places like Plymouth or Burnley or Barry Island (just watched Gavin and Stacey)

even if they are lucky enough to get work, they will be doing it at cut throat prices where they are trying to undercut their competitors.
In London the only reason people can not make a living is because they are lazy, this is why all migrants generally come here first, they don't jump on the first plane and head for Bristol International Airport it's always an airport close to London. In London you can find a job handing out leaflets, car washing, waiting, in fact you can find a job doing almost anything. The main reason people don't get work is because they put up an excuse of why not to take up a job. I have offered untold work to people for
