As having lot of experience with article marketing with more than 3000 article posted within 2 months of time period. I think the article sites those with high PR like ezinearticles which allow just 3-5 post within a day and approved just 2 articles within a week are considered to be best as they review article twice and have quite high quality articles on their sites too. Auto approved site usually have lot of spam articles and not as such benefits. canvenconsulting

I wouldn't post to any of them, too risky that you're wasting your time against a future SEO update being harsher still on article sites, a lot of them are still full of crap and it's a lot of work coming up with a totally unique perspective on things for just a couple of links on a submission site.
