Hi folks I've been racking my noodle on my SEO breaks where I come up for air how could I be of assistance to others I mean knowing about a nymphenburg bulldog figurine from 1928 isn't really going to help with more complex issues so I had this idea I hope is ok with the forum.

i have tonnes of media accounts and even more followers on most of them so my idea was if you email me your business link/s I can on occasion drop a link or two on my medias on pages in groups and some of my friends share as well, I would like to ask those at the legal stop wether this is breaking any rules I just see it as a bit of free advertising and as long as I do not spam it should be fine.  Any ides ya nay etc  thanks

Hi Ave

Appreciate the sentiment. We have had a variety of shared social media account threads, where we like or promote each others over the years. It tends to skirt the rules of social media gaming but doesn't do much harm.

When we moved the social media links to the forum profiles (hover your mouse over my profile), then the old social media threads died out.

We tend to like/follow people who like/follow us, and I know a lot of people do the same. If you follow peoples social media profiles, I'm sure they would be grateful and bound to give a like/follow back. Remember to add in your social media links in your forum profile (just click your profile to edit it).

Other than that, you don't need to be an SEO guru. You've set up a site from scratch, you'd be amazed how much knowledge you have amassed and how useful that can be to someone less experienced. So don't be shy to wade in with your 5 pence worth on any thread discussions or questions.

Or a bit of humour on a friday doesn't go a miss! Our resident cartoonist has been a bit busy of late!

Hi Steve I could retract my offer if that's required I'm man enough to say I suffer with mental health issues that restrict me so I feel like a useless SOB most of the time and why I like to help out its a great destraction and I use it to prove stigma wrong folks like me restricted in life by circumstances in life can achieve and my goal has always been to inspire others. Saying that my own SEO problems have had me nearly scrap my site I would ask questions but it's no use as I wouldn't understand the reply to implement the changes. All this palava just to show off some figurines ay lol

Only real requirements here are a sense of humour  Too many forums and business boards are clicky, stuffy or full of self qualified experts!

Many a time I have said exactly the same thing  Normally when it's a customer moaning or we've upset someone.
