A lot of you will have seen on the news for the past few days that there have been huge cyber attacks which have targeted huge organisations and companies gaining very personal and confidential information, hopefully this will be a wake up call to everyone and we can all find new ways to keep our businesses secure and safe from this sort of thing.
As a huge Disney fan this has been something that has certainly caught my eye in the news this morning. According to ITV news Disney is reportedly being blackmailed as hackers have got hold of a new Disney film that is soon to be released
At this moment the Disney chief Bob Iger has notified that he will not release the film that is being held to ransom however there have been speculations that is could the new Pirates of the Caribbean film which is due to be released on May 26th or the new Cars film which is due to be released next month, but no one knows anything for sure.
Reports claim federal investigators have been contacted by Disney and are waiting to see if hackers follow through on their threats to release instalments of the film online.
Disney has not officially confirmed the reports but have been contacted for comment.
