Jees I cannot believe how warm it was today , was out and about in my T-shirt and it is almost December..... Then you read the news about months and months of snow and the coldest winter ahead makes you wonder what in the world is going on with our weather ..well as I live near the coast I don't hold any hope of getting much snow thank goodness . I have come to hate the stuff                                  ...... explanation here

I nearly froze at the park last week but like you said it's then got milder again. It's very confusing. I don't know how many pairs of socks to put on each day.

I predict very little snow here although my daughter insists it will snow at Christmas, she's 4 though so perhaps not a trusted meteorologist.

I did hear some banter of snow at Christmas , but we'll all find out on the day .. It's been 1 long summer for me with New Zealand and South Africa in the early part of the year ... I can't wait for Jan to be able to get some time off

We didn't get a proper holiday this year with one thing and another so it's been one long year for me! Mind you, holidays with young children are not relaxing anyway.

I wouldn't mind a bit of snow but we're travelling to Devon for one night just before Christmas, so preferably not then!

Sat in the office today in a tshirt with my fan on. Clive is at the opposite end of the office in a jumper with the radiator on... Can't win!

My kids have only remember seeing snow once and my eldest is 8! It's a shame, used to love being out in the snow and sledging at their age. Winters certainly seem to be getting milder.

At least when the Arctic melts and sea levels rise, we'll be among the last survivors as we're in the Midlands

Hot flushes Steve? Haha. And don't worry the zombie apocalypse will get us way before the sea level does

Funny how we're told every year that we're going to have 'the coldest winter on record'.... I think these rumours are started by woolly hat manufacturers

And the snow shovel makers.

I just got a new woolly hat but it's easily cold enough already for me to wear it.
