We were looking for something that ran from our servers too but opted for mailchimp instead for lots of good reasons. compliance, functionailtity etc. We send approx 50k mails per week and get great results from mailchimp so no reason to change..

Really liked the look of Mail Chimp, and interspire is very similar functionality wise, but we needed to run from our own boxes.

Hi,

I like OpenEMM.... its a free open source emailing program that can look after your email lists, opt in/outs, double opt in. design, open reports etc etc etc....

You can either use it as a stand alone as a vware appliance, (runs as a pc within your pc) or use it as a desktop version on your pc..

i cant put links on yet as i am new so you will to be creative with the links..

put the 3 w's. vwmare dot com in front of the below....

/appliances/directory/cat/0?k=openemm&c=0

this is to the openemm applicance and you will need the free vmplayer to run it...

or you can download the desktop version directly from the openemm website: (again cant post links yet) so put the 3 w's dot openemm dot org

I hope this helps!!

Our company is using Clearslide, because we like the tracking capabilities.

I don't know if Clearslide would work in your application, check it out.

Also heard that MailChimp is pretty good. We haven't used it ourselves.

Accounting Help

I recently changed my email provider and I’ve been really impressed with the services they offer, especially the CRM tools, surveys and tracking. I’m not sure if you can send the emails from your own server but might be worth checking them out they are called Mail Customers.

Thanks,
Kirsty

fastemailsender.com, this is the best version in my own opinion. Its have a trial version.

Methinks maybe tis time to let this thread go to rest. I'm sure that the OP has already found a solution.
