I love this. If anyone ever asks for an example of link bait, or viral marketing, then send them this. Down for everyone or just me? Just a simple site that lets you check if its just you having problems, or if it can't be reached from a different IP. Then a gentle soft sell message at the bottom. No adsense, banners or fluff, just nice and simple. A really straight forward idea, pennies to implement, and is actually useful on that odd occasion when you're not sure if its you, your ISP or the internet that's broken. Wished I'd thought of it.
