I choose to work from home considering the fact that I am able to choose my time slot myself. Also, I live alone and hate distractions which I would have to deal with in case of a proper workplace.

Thanks for the tips, they are helpful indeed.
And I would like to add that working from home, you really need a special room that serves you like an office or even a small separated space in the room when there will be working atmosphere.

There's some good tips here, it's very true when your home people thing it's ok to call and want to do things. Moving your car away is an easy way to prevent it from happening.

I agree also with the day time tv, who watches day time tv.

I currently run my business from home but have a separate room so my family know that when I am in there they are to leave me alone unless it is really important.

I also read somewhere once that to get you in the right frame of mind to start work in the morning try going out of the house, for a walk round the block or something and return as though you are entering a place of work (office. etc)

I shall keep all the tips from this thread in mind for when I work from home full time.

Kelly

Definitely ideal read for my afternoon tea I still believe that one can work from home if they want, however it is good to have an office, too
