Hi as a new member I wanted to talk about ink refilling, the difference between print head cartridges and ink tanks. Toners and lasers etc. Sounds very complicated but it is very easy when you know how. My main aim is to support and encourage the recylcing of all ink cartridges of any type. The cost to the enviroment of throwing away this type of equipment is huge.. let me know what you think even if you are a true member of the throw away society..thanks

Thanks,

If that could be arrange -- I mean how easy it is for us to do this -- I myself have been doing my share in recycle & reuse in my own small way at home.

I remember as a kid (ok maybe when i was 20) , I was too tight to pay the ridiculous prices for new ink cartridges, I went to my local supermarket and bought 3 different food colourings... injected it into my cartridge and hey presto... lol

Not recommended though especially if you have an expensive printer.
Good Times!

Ink and toner is a little more sophisticated now and a lot more expensive!

However, in this time of austerity I may just have to suggest your idea to my bosses at work, you never know it could save me from the inevitable cut-backs!
