Hello,
New on the forum.
I am thinking of re-designing my website. I have been using wordpress but was hoping to get something simpler to use, and with more functionality, and ideally a PC based software.
I am looking into WebEasy Pro 8.
Any recommendations? Or Good experience?
Thierry
I'd personally say stick with wordpress. You can do literally anything with it... I would recommend Joomla too but that is harder than wordpress. If you really want something offline based. I'd recommend HTML Editor, Flash & Web Design Software | CoffeeCup Software (No way affiliated with me) but they look good for what it is. It depends what you're after, even hiring someone is a good option!
“....It depends what you're after, even hiring someone is a good option!” Naturally, I would say that would be a very good option. ![]() Happy to have a chat about it if you want. Feel free to DM.
Very useful feedback. I will be talking to a friend that has helped me with Wordpress, and thinkin about it further. Thanks a lot.
Wordpress will do anything you want, if you know how to use it
I'd stick with wordpress, its very easy to use depending what you want to acheive Thanks, Kevin.Wiles
personally i would recommend Joomla, but seems most people in the UK use Drupal
Depends what you are after. Wordpress is great for SEO and for clients sites as they can manage the content themselves. As it sounds like you are trying to design your own site, updating the content will be no problem (you built it in the first place). If your serious you cant go far wrong with a copy of Fireworks and Dreamweaver and a Linda.com tutorial
Hi Thierry, Wordpress is an intelligent tool and allows you a various features and extended functions in website development in a user friendly discipline. Moreover, it secures plenty of labor in search engine optimization. Web easy is also a better tool allows you to design a professional looking website in a very short time. But the beginners will take some time to get 'used to' with it as some of the built-in functions are difficult to find, and editing HTML is also a delicate process. Better Luck! Bliss Felton
Start using Joomla last autumn for my own site. Now I build sites for other people. It is very easy to use. There are so many free templates out there and the support from the open source community is very good too. Well optimised too - good for onpage SEO. Drupal next! |
