Just submit the new page to a site called 'pingler.com' and it will be crawled and (hopefully) indexed immediately.

sorry i can't post link coz I'm a newbie

How does pingler actually work? Is this basically a submission service?

What's different from getting crawled naturally?

Only a few more posts and you can link away

No difference, it just speeds it up.

If you have a blog style website then every new post will (probably) automatically be pinged, however pages are different.

Because pages don't show up in your RSS feed they will only be indexed the next time the google robots crawl your page. If you have a high PR site with changing content they probably crawl several times each day - but a low PR site with static content might get very infrequent (days?weeks?months?) between visits.

But it's only about speed of discovery - nothing to do with how google deals with the content after it has been discovered.

If you want to index a new site in 24 hours the following will usually do the job. Essentially all it does is submit the site to a load of Alexa/whats my site worth type sites then pings them. Works pretty well.

Edit, cant post links yet - remove the *'s to use

The market is flooded with tools, I usually just submit them to social sites that usually has them indexed within google quiet quickly

A good paid press release will help index a site faster but in 24 hours?

It would have to be a viral news story that goes viral instantly.

Well I use wordpress on a few blogs - and posts are indexed within a few minutes not 24 hours.

Its because wordpress has a ping service that calls google to come and index each page. The blogs are not particularly strong or good - see the one for example in my navigation from the link signature.

I think its pretty easy to add a ping service even if you don't have a blog - ask your webdesign.

I would say that getting content indexed quicker doesn't mean better rankings it just means the Search Engines are aware of the page sooner.

Submitting an xml sitemap to search engine directories can have your website indexed faster then having search engine spiders eventually finding your site
