Best Way to get clients

Hi There

Hope you are all well.

We use a variety of different methods for bringing customers in.

As painstaking as it is, cold calling does bring results (if used properly). We also use email marketing.

Another very very effective tool we use is business networking. This has helped us meet solid contacts, although maybe not in our particular field, they have generated business for us by linking us to their own contacts.

That all said, it does depend on what business you are in. As a sourcing company, a variety of different sales mediums work effectivly for us.

Although the internet is effective, it really cannot beat meeting some one face to face.

Getting clients can be pretty tough in the beginning.. But it depends on the kind of business you are in... If you're a wedding supplier for example - attending wedding tradeshows can be a good way to start.

But for the benefit for all of us - who are working online. Building trust is the most important factor in getting clients.

Build a good SEO optimized website, place in a blog and share information as FREELY as possible, have yourself listed in Google places - which will increase your site getting up in the search pages when someone types in a keyword that is directly related to your business.

Google AdWords I find to be a useful marketing tool and I am very happy with the results I have gained. Always have adverts running, but the trick to maximise is to regularly check your ads to make sure they are performing well for you. If you just set up the ads and leave them, it can become expensive and a pointless exercise.

Make sure you're regularly checking performance, conversions, visitor numbers etc.....boring stuff I know, what will be worthwhile in the long run

Social media/networking can get you some good results for only a fraction of the price you will pay for the methods you stated above. Linkedin is great however if you do not invest time and energy into the media it can not drive results.

The best practice that you may perform to get new clients is your communication and network channel with our businesses. If you have good relations with other businesses then you may advertise and can get attention of clients from there. I think you got it what I want to say.

I personally feel that Word-of-Mouth marketing or referral marketing is one of the most powerful advertising/marketing tool available to let people know the credibility of your business and greatly increase the chances of these people becoming your customers.

If your customer is satisfy with your business dealings with him then thins thing helps you a lot in finding clients. To satisfy your customer, you have to provide best services, information and facilities that they require. So, customer loyalty is the most important thing in this regard.

apparently most companies or businesses KNOW the importance to retain existing customers and keep a database of all their clients. BUT the things they never realize is that they fail to UNDERSTAND the importance and PUT IT TO PRACTICE...

back in school, i was taught to keep "expanding" market, keep advertising, keep selling but when I was introduced to a business networking organisation called "Business Network International" or BNI for short, this organisation made me realize the power of referral from existing customers and how important it is to service existing customers well, so that they will keep coming back for more...

Some of the things I put into practice are:
- Regular sending out greeting cards and Thank You cards to my existing clients and people who sent in inquiries but didn't convert to customers.
- Regularly offer a channel to meet up with existing clients to gather feedback and keep myself updated
- Always give the latest offers and news to existing clients first. this gives them a sense of "privilege" or "priority" over new customers.

You just have to do quality work on your website either you are running an online business or any sort of business. The key points to attract customers are same for every business so you should focus on quality work instead of focusing quantity.
