 Thanks for sharing - as I supporter of several local charities I have passed the link on although I've heard that it can take a long time to be accepted for the grant.

 That's good on Google's part. Now we can make it good at ours, hopefully.  
 Thats the good step by Google. I know they are doing quite good on many areas. 
 Could make a big difference for new nonprofits. A friend who runs a network focused on domestic violence got their grant. I think it's $25k worth of free advertising that they're giving to each qualified organization.
