It is damn hard work. All the techniques are mentioned abouve but there is no quick fix, particularly if your keywords are competitive. If you run a business you probabaly wont have time get an SEO comapny to do it for you.

Can any one please explain how Google working to be number one with certain key words , we offer beauty service ?

Thank you

Hi there!

I am a new member here, but would like to share some of my insights on your dilemma...

1. Check your website's SEO, you can use Woorank which is one of the many free Google chrome's extension/ add-on... It will let you know if you have your keywords in your header/ title tag and even in your metadescription.

2. What keyword would you like to rank for? Let's say you are located in London - and you'd like your website to show up in Google search when someone types in "affordable beauty service in London" - then you would need to use these keywords as anchor text links/ URL links when you post on a beauty/ business blog or forum.

3. Have a video from youtube with the same keywords as well.

4. Having a blog embedded in your website is also a great way for Google to know that you have the authority on your chosen keyword.. But make sure that you maintain your blog.

Alright, my fingers are aching now Sorry for such a long post - but hope it helps!

Get me to do it :P

I thought I would change up the advice a little

Research about SEO. If you know the basics then research again on your niche and your competitors then go ahead with keyword research. Choosing this keywords is like your money-magnet so be really careful. Then when you have the keywords you want to target, link build it.
