Can anyone tell me:-
- 1. Is there a way of discovering the domain name of sites which have a banner linked to my website

A few months ago, I paid for a banner to link into my website. I have forgotten the name of the website and the supplier has not provided me with an invoice Can anyone tell me:-

Guess it depends how many links you have to your site. Top of my head, one way would be to go to Yahoo Site explorer, and view all the links pointing to your site, and in theory, your banner link should be in there, if you reconise the name of the website. https://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com Traffic wise is a case of analyzing any analytic's you have. By default you should have access to server logs, which you could try and search through, but not the easiest of jobs. Ideally, if you have Google analytic's installed, then it's straight forward and you can track where any of your traffic originated. If you haven't got GA installed, highly recommend you do it, and its free! Google Analytics | Official Website Hope that helps.
sjr4x4 was absolutely right! I would be wary of purchasing one-off banners like this unless: 1. You know the traffic visiting the site 2. The site is tightly targeted to your own marketplace. Drian |
