My beloved PC broke after getting her a new home ( case ). So, for 3 days now I have been trying one thing after another troubleshooting and cursing. After diagnosing that her motherboard and harddrive have seen better days, I am left fighting with a smaller and slower downgrade built from my lab spares.

Dreamraven fell off the wagon and is now embarassed .

Thanks,

Awww Nooooooooooo

A little PC stress is a poor excuse

Now dig out that YouTube video you saw that scared you in the first place and start again!

Maybe we need to fly Paul to South Africa to sort you out!

three days without being able to do anything and a self proclaimed tech nut losing her pride and joy.... its a biggy for me She's still null and void though. begged and pleaded with my laptop and for now, its holding... Still its no phoenix.

Will have to muster the courage (or fear) again, and try again.... and hopefully quit for good.

As long as I'm not flying.... trust me, its a good thing.

Thanks,
Dreamraven

Come on Sami - we all suffered during our withdrawal process - as Steve says - look at that vid again & get yourself sorted - you've got a lot of support on here

Clive

I will. Its just harder than I thought it would be. I'm grateful for all the support though, it means a lot to me.

Thanks,

I honestly could not have quit without MLF. I used to get a little "fresh" and vented my daily frustrations on the MLF forum. It was a great distraction for me

This "blip" was just a sign that you were not ready at that moment in time. You will quit when you are ready and you will take pride in that achievement when you share it here.....keep fighting, you can do it

Thanks,
Ray Priestley

Thanks Ray . amazing how the slightest stress automatically makes you reach out for them, or hunt them down when its been hidden from you (by yourself).

They say that it takes about 3 days for the nicotine to work itself out of the system, and that the worst withdrawals happen after that time.

Thanks,
Dreamraven
