It's been around 13 hours now. AND so far, no smoking, have thought about it, but not done anything. Today might be hard, as its early morning here now and I have an entire day to work through. but if I can make 13 hours, I can do this.

LOL its going to be great not having my perfume have a smoky twang to it

Thanks,

You are already counting in days......now that's progress. Get through that barrier of 3 days and it definitely gets easier, you even laugh about your ups and down after the first week. Keep going, we are are all thinking about you.

I have been drinking a lot more coffee now, and am trying out different things to replace my "hand to cigarettes" action when I'm at my PC or watching TV. I am thinking rice cakes perhaps. There are one or two favs I enjoy a lot.

Thank you. It feels really awesome to have so many behind me in this.

Wahey Sorry Sami, been up to my eyes in stuff so missed the beginning of your new life!

Keep it up, already done the hard bit, gets easier and easier moving forward. Nicorette gum got me over the initial craving, dunno if you have a similar product in SA, downside is left me as a Wrigleys addict

Proud of you girl, keep the faith

Sorry been a bit busy - just wanted to add my support for Sami.

Great start to kicking the habit - stay strong & fight those demons!

Best of luck, you have the whole Forum behind you

*raises a glass of shiraz* thanks guys (*hic... Lol jokes).

I have my gum and rice cakes at the ready trying to reprogram to grab for thise instead of panicking because i don't have cigarettes. Oh yes, and vanilla milk for my coffee . This shud be the hardest for me, but hope to get past it without any problems

Thanks,
Dreamraven
