Well Done

well, thought I would add an update. Gave up smoking on the 25 February 2012. So by my calculation thats 3 days short of 8 months. Don't miss it at all. Weight starting to come under control and have plenty of thinsgs to distract me. New day job and new direction with our little buisness. The ups and downs have been taken in my stride and if I am honest I have only ever "screamed give me a fecking cig right now or die" two or three times.

Thanks,
Ray Priestley

Congrats, congrats and more congrats

Top man, you are a non smoker Just keep telling yourself that, gets easier and easier from now on, you've done the hard bit, which was reprogramming your brain.

So has Mrs Sharpink spent all your spare cash?

How about cold turkey ? I spent a few minutes on youtube, strangely enough looking at short doccies about the carpenters, and somehow ended up watching a video a lady made of her dad. I think that was the clincher for me. Today 12:02 is my last day as a smoker. methinks its time for me to put the effort in and stop now.

Thanks,

No one can tell you to do it - you have to do it for yourself - it did take me 4 attempts before i finally decided i wanted to.
