Becoming a Non Smoker

It's amazing progress when you think about it. Hopefully in another 50 years smoking will be consigned to the history books...

I so hope so ... my maternal grandparents both died earlier than they should have because of tobacco (chain-smoking Grandad of lung cancer, Grandma of throat cancer acquired through passive-smoking). Even the poor budgie fell off its perch at an early age.

It saddens me deeply when I see teenagers and parents with kids in tow lighting up.

...still a non smoker, it's about 15 months now. Although I was really tempted couple of weeks ago. A few bad days.

Approaching almost 6 months and still cig free. Have to confess my new job has changed my routine and I hate the smell of stale smoke but it has been quite easy so far. Down side, I was eating like a horse (and looked like one). The wife has now got me on rabbit food and the oldest child has got me weight training to help me drop the 2 stone of extra weight gain, watch this space
