I did think this was a wind up, but apparently aggressive stances, chest beating and foot stamping also happens in zoo's and not just board rooms

BBC News - Animal behaviour in the boardroom

By observing monkeys and apes, the premise is that they will start to understand their colleagues better, he says.

What ever happened to walking up to a person and talking to them, or going down to the pub for lunch or something?

Mr Van Veen started the business because he felt that he had really benefitted from his background training in primate behaviour in his first job, working for an insurance company. Understanding monkeys helped him get a handle on relationships between people at work, he says. He was particularly inspired by his boss, who reminded him of a gorilla.

I am King Kong in my office - mind you I'm the only one in my office lol.
I can understand that there would be a few similarities, but for the life of me cannot understand how someone would say that the office structure is like the hierarchy in a monkey troop. Call me old fashioned, but people are people, monkeys are monkeys, and sometimes people believe more than they should. Even if it gives them a little publicity online or in the news.

Thanks,
