Qype is no more! Hello Yelp 3rd November 2012 7:56 PM
Never heard of Qype here in the states. But Yelp is pretty much the dominant "review" type site that most people have heard of around here.

If you are getting that type of warning, your software for our site may be compromised. Run a virus/malware scan on everything and see if anything turns up.

LOL. Thats just too funny...and odd. They say the chimpanzee is one of human's closest relatives.
How not to use Google Adsense 9th February 2012 10:47 PM
Yup, if you are working on a site for the long haul its best to keep things squeaky clean.

Though I must admit if my ad revenue quadrupled across 2 days, I probably would have waited for a larger data set before turning it in.

Really like the infographic. Lots of useful information in there on best practices, etc. Have a bit of work to do on a couple of those categories myself...

I've had some limited success getting in. I always try to see how the majority of the other sites describe themselves - and use that as a guide for how I describe my business. So, I try to use the same formatting & order (with synonyms). I figure, if they like the other people's way of doing things, won't hurt to follow their lead.

Side note, doesn't appear to be helping their stock prices very much:

H-P hits six-year low, losses lead tech action - MarketWatch

Maybe they should rethink their strategy.
I liked Windows XP Pro. Was relatively stable and didn't have a lot of hassles with drivers, software incompatibilities, etc.

Is there a new Windows OS version after Windows 7?

Yup, Windows 8 is in development. It did have a projected release date of late 2011, but its current tentative release date has been bumped back to Fall 2012.
Apple's iPhone was said to be the most popular brand. However, teenagers appeared to favour RIM's Blackberry devices.

Based on personal experience, thats the complete opposite of the persons I know in the US. Every teenager I know uses iPhone, while most adults use Blackberry (or Android).
Website Copyright, do I have rights? 19th August 2011 3:40 PM
For me personally, I don't have time to "play games" arguing with the thieves. The "no I didn't take your work", "yes you did take my work" banter is time consuming & frustrating.

I just go straight to the hosting company and file a DMCA complaint without ever contacting the thief. The thief knows they are a thief. And arguing with them is pointless.
(Easy to do: do a Who Is on the domain, and send an email to the host company to lodge the complaint (there are several easy to use templates on the web to use as a guide)) Takes usually 5 minutes to file the complaint. And most hosting companies respond quickly in turning the thieve's site off until the stolen content is removed.
