Is there any course sites out there on the web that has helped you out with your business preferably free but paid for too if not major expensive, I know there is the likes of youtube where you can watch videos etc.

Courses on the likes of photshop, how to build an online shop, learn excel, how to design logo's etc

A site I think is brilliant just for downloadable guides is HERE

So whats your favourite sites that you have used or could put forward

Hi,

My favourite is Online video tutorials & training | lynda.com it's really a trusted source, they have a lot of video training, presentation, tutorials. I always use this site if I don't have time to learn from my own experiences. Go ahead, try it

Thanks,
Elisabeth

The closest to courses for me would be Moz, and following the whiteboard fridays and absorbing their blog.

Microsoft has some good tutorials for Excel. Google is your friend.

The main thing would be to try and understand what you are trying to do, if you need to do pricing and would like to learn how to do vlookup's then learning about pivot tables isn't much help, so narrow your tutorials to something specific will make the learning curve smoother.

I second Lynda.com. I don't use it myself because I learn best from books and tutorials but I know a few people who swear by it, and I have been doing extensive research into online education sites over the past couple months and Lynda.com is one that stood out for me.

Another one I like is Udemy.com. I haven't taken any of the software courses on here, but there's a lot of quality material available (although make sure you're buying the quality courses, some are a bit second-rate.)

Thanks,
Eva

You could try udemy.com. They have free and paid courses that you can look at.
